Mariah focuses her practice on estates because she believes that clarity, preparation, and compassionate guidance can bring clients tremendous peace of mind. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she prioritizes understanding each client’s family dynamics, concerns, and long-term goals. From there, she works collaboratively to design plans that feel both practical and deeply personal.
What matters most to her is that clients feel informed and genuinely supported. She believes that estate planning isn’t just about documents—it’s about protecting relationships, reducing uncertainty, creating a legacy, and giving families a sense of stability for the future.
Before joining Trusts and Estates Law Group, Mariah founded and ran her own estate planning firm, where she developed a reputation for being approachable, thorough, and highly client-focused. That experience strengthened her belief that clients deserve straightforward guidance—not overwhelming legal jargon—and that the best outcomes happen when clients feel empowered to ask questions and take an active role in the planning process.
Mariah’s passion for her work is driven by her own personal experience of losing her mother unexpectedly and navigating the confusion that comes from not having an estate plan in place. Because of this, she has a desire to help clients avoid that same emotional burden and unnecessary conflict, and stress. She is committed to both helping people plan for the future and streamlining the administration process for loved ones.
A resident of Raleigh, Mariah enjoys a fun and adventurous lifestyle outside the office. She loves traveling internationally and domestically, exploring new cultures, and spending time in nature. She also enjoys Latin and ballroom dance, which brings joy, movement, and community into her life.
