Jennifer Wermig is our estate administration paralegal, providing expert assistance to our clients in their probate, guardianship, trust settlement and related matters.
Jennifer is a member of North Carolina State Bar Association, and an active participant in the Estate Planning and Probate Law and Paralegal Sections.
Jennifer speaks to Duke University’s Paralegal students each semester and greatly enjoys sharing her knowledge with each new class of paralegal candidates. She also volunteers with Wills for Heroes at events across the state of North Carolina, as Jennifer is dedicated to ensuring first responders’ legal affairs are in order before tragedy strikes.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her dedication to her artwork and ceramic sculptures were rewarded by the Professors of the UNC-CH Art Department with the Jonathan E. Sharpe Scholarship Summer Partner Fellowship at Penland School of Crafts Jonathan E. Sharpe Scholarship Summer Partner Fellowship at Penland School of Crafts in 2006. Jennifer completed her legal studies at Duke University’s Paralegal program in 2013 and became a North Carolina State Certified Paralegal shortly thereafter.
Jennifer is also very active in the Raleigh tennis community. She captains multiple teams each season at Raleigh Racquet Club and recently took her 5.5 Combo team to the State Championships where they placed second in the State after a week of grueling competition against the best teams from across the state. Jennifer recently received the designation a USTA North Carolina Tennis Star for her work developing new teams while at Raleigh Racquet Club.
